Obituary

Hallie Elizabeth (Ingledue) Barnard 80, of East Rochester, died at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

She was born on October 3, 1944, in Columbiana County, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Gertrude A. (Roessler) Ingledue.

Hallie moved to East Rochester in 1972, she took loving care of her home and her daughters. She was a former member of the Guilford Ruritans, Salem Eagles, and Highland Christian Church. She enjoyed going dancing, playing bingo, and most recently spending time with grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Karla (Ronald) Willis of Salem, and Anna Smalley of East Rochester, grandchildren Hunter and Jackie, great grandchild Bentley, and siblings; Gertrude Newman of GA, William Ingledue of Lisbon, Fred Ingledue of Alliance, Oliver Ingledue of Waynesburg, and Robert Ingledue of East Rochester.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl N. Barnard JR, sisters; Lydia Ingledue, Helen Shultz, Wanda Lopez and brothers; Charles, John, Larry, Kenneth, Ronald, and Allen Ingledue.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, 2:30 PM, Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, with pastor Kari Lankford officiating. A time of visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
