Obituary

Harry Richard Durham 85, of Canfield, died at 5:25 PM Wednesday at Hospice House in Poland. He was born on August 10, 1929 in Beaver, Washington, the son of the late Richard and Mabel (Kinney) Durham. He was a Supervisor at GM Fisher Body for many years. He was a 32 Degree Mason in the Mt. Clemens, Mi. Lodge and the Scottish Rite in Youngstown. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his daughters, Colleen Schultz of Auburn Hills, Mich, Donna (Arthur) Kaster of Huntington Woods, Mich., and Vicky (Dave) Perry of Apple Valley, Minn., four grandchildren, Tom Schultz, Robert, Fred, and Tim Howey, and seven great grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin and Michael Schultz, Raylynn, Allen, Justin and Eric Howey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Helen Eileen Brunner whom he married on October 13, 1977 and who died on July 2, 2012, a brother Ray and a sister Caroline Wheeler. Services will be on Monday at 1 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. Aimee Raymond of Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 11 to 1 PM on Monday. The Salem Honor Guard will provide honors at Grandview Cemetery. Donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
