Ilene (Labon) Cavalier 75, of New Waterford, died at 4:09 AM, Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born August 9, 1949, in Glassport, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Yesenski) Labon.

Ilene worked at Olive Garden in Boardman for 33 years, from which she retired. She enjoyed being out and about, going on road trips and having a good time making memories, she generally just loved to enjoy life. Ilene was a mentor to her other family members and was very close with her sisters. She was fond of spending time in the kitchen and was famous for her Hungarian peppers. She also liked being outdoors and taking care of her yard, as well as tending to her decorative pond outside and indoor aquarium where she could admire her fish.

She is survived by her husband Christian Cavalier, brother Frances Labon of Steep Falls, Maine, 5 nephews, and 2 nieces.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Yvonne Liebel and Christine Ell.
