Ira Eugene Hinkle, 81, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 7:51 AM in the emergency room of Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 26, 1941, in Corning, Arkansas, son of the late Ira Mansfield and Florence Marie (Maulding) Hinkle.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jane (Siddle) Hinkle, whom he married July 30, 1998, his children Athalee (Bob) Middlebrooks of Texas, Ira Hinkle of Georgia, Brian Hinkle of California, Lorie (Wendel) Haney of Oregon, Lisa (Dejan) Matic of Georgia, Heather (Casey) Huffman, and Heidi Hostetter both of Salem, his siblings Jane Baum, Sue Snell, Sharon Hinkle, and Danny Hinkle, as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Jim Hinkle.

There are no services planned. Arrangements were made by the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem.
