Julia Lola (Pakron) Pastors 96, of Salem, died at 7:35 PM Wednesday at Copeland Oaks Retirement Community in Sebring. She was born on August 24, 1918 in Rush Run, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Pabian) Pakron. She has lived in Alliance, Sebring, Columbiana, Boardman and Salem. She has held memberships in St. Ann's in Sebring, St. Jude's in Columbiana, St. Charles in Boardman and now St. Paul's Catholic Church in Salem. She had been a key punch operator in the sales department of Universal Coop. in Alliance. She enjoyed her sowing and sowing crafts, baking, playing the accordion, and spending time with her family. She was featured on the radio with her accordion playing. She is survived by her children, Richard Morgan Pastors and Carole Ann (David) Hatcher all of Salem, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren, a brother Julius (Phyllis) Pakron of Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Richard Pastors whom she married on April 15, 1944 and who passed away on April 11, 1983, and siblings Mary, John, Sophie, Josephine, Frank and Stella. Services will be on Monday, 10:30 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. There will be an 11 AM Mass at Salem St. Paul's Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Edwards serving as the Celebrant. The burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Jefferson County, Ohio. The family will receive friends and family from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Monday at the funeral home. She will be buried on Tuesday morning at the cemetery.
