Jacob Ryan Long 15, of Butler Township, Salem, died at his home early Thursday morning. He was born on May 11, 2016 in Youngstown, the son of William Patrick and Michelle Ann (Lewis) Long Jr. Jacob was open enrolled in 10th grade in Salem Senior High School, he had previously been home schooled and attended West Branch High School last year. He was a member of the St. Paul's Boy Scouts Troop # 6. Jacob liked his video games, tearing apart and fixing things, computers, and his guns. He enjoyed the outdoors and being in nature. He was a member of the Believers Christian Fellowship in Salem. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, William Patrick Long III and Brandon Kyle Long, Paternal grandparents, William Patrick and Linda Marie (Bowser) Long and Maternal grandparents, Richard Harold and Karen Lynn (Hill) Lewis all of Lisbon, his aunts and uncles, Sara Lewis, Barry (Emily) Long, Deanna Long all of Lisbon. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Belinda Burbick. Services will be held on Tuesday, 7 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, the Rev. Robert Rowley from the Believers Christian Fellowship will be officiating the services. The St. Paul's Boy Scout Troop # 6 will also be taking part in the services at the church. A time of visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the church. The family is asking that all donations be made in memory of Jacob to St. Paul's Boy Scout Troop # 6.
