James A. Ling 68, of Lisbon, passed away at 1:45 PM on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

He was born September 6, 1956, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the son of the late George and Doris (Colbert) Ling.

James was in the construction business until he had an injury related to the job. He enjoyed spending time in the garage wrenching on his cars. James had attended Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church in Salem.

He is survived by his son Jay (Laura) Ling of Maryland, sister Sarah Nelson of Salem, brother George Ling of Florida, grandchildren; Savannah, Natalie, Katherine, and Michael.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death on March 21, 2017, by his wife Nancy Charlene (Tire) Ling, son Christopher and his wife Britney, and his sister Doris Dennison.

No services are planned at this time.
