James Dobson McKinnon, 64, of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at his home unexpectedly. He was born March 22, 1952, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late James G. and Doris R (Dobson) McKinnon . James graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1970 and from Kent State University in 1972 with an Associates Degree in Political Science. He served as a Navy corpsman during the Vietman War. James married Laura Barnickle on June 14, 1986. He worked as a computer programmer and later as a Licensed Practical Nurse. James is survived by his son, Bennett (Tera) McKinnon, of Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany, his daughter, Elizabeth McKinnon and sister Catherine Snow.
