James R. Sekinger Jr., 80 ( KC8HSD ), of Boardman, died at 4:45 AM Sunday at Essex of Salem #1. Jim was a self employed carpenter and heating and cooling technician. He attended the Church of Christ on Glenwood in Boardman, an active ham radio operator in the valley, active in Masonic lodge, worked for the catholic dioceses caring for the heating and cooling systems, a teacher at YSU, and ran the international building at the Canfield Fair. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cisco, children James and Mary Ann, brother Jinx. He is survived by his companion and care giver Lynn Yose of Canfield. Services will be held on Monday, 11 AM at the Church of Christ on Glenwood and Rt 224, the Rev. John R. Selders will be officiating. Donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
