SALEM - Janet (Davis) Cameron, 79, of Salem died Monday at her home. She was born Sept. 30, 1936 in Salem, the daughter of the late Martha (Mather) Flory and the late C. Davis. She was a graduate of Goshen School in 1954. She and her daughter Cherri jointly owned and operated Lincoln Terrace Apartments in Salem for the past 20 years. Prior to that Janet owned and operated Winona Nursery and Greenhouse for over 30 years. She loved growing plants and talking to people at the nursery and continued to do both at Lincoln Terrace where she had a beautiful garden and enjoyed the residents. Janet also worked as VBO Entrepreneur Coordinator at the CCJCS for 17 years. She was the "Queen" of our family and gave her support to each of us emotionally and with her generosity. She loved to travel and felt most at home in St. Martin where she had a trip planned for next month. Her dog Willie enjoyed many walks as Janet was outside many time a day enjoying the fresh air. She is survived by her daughter, Cherri Ann Hutton of Beloit; five grandchildren, Holly Hutton, Tyler Grodhaus, Scott Hutton, Taryn Grodhaus and Gregory Hutton; and a brother, Jerry Davis of Louisiana. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Melissa K. Grodhaus and Tana Sue Burbick and a brother, Ronnie Davis. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3. A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
