Obituary

Janet Lucille (Coy) Crider 80, of Salem, (formerly of Greenford) died at 6:34 PM Wednesday , July 31, 2013 at Salem Community Hospital. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister and dear friend to many. She gave of her self thru love to raise her family as only she could do. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was born on February 27, 1933 in Greenford, Ohio, the daughter of the late Arlin Blair and Amy Lucille (Court) Coy. She was a home maker, a member of the Harvest Baptist Church and a 1951 Graduate of Greenford High School. She is survived by her Husband of 60 years, Francis A. Crider whom she married on January 3, 1953, her children, Cindy Crider of Salem, Danny (Linda) Crider of Beloit, and Melody (Robert) Hovis of Winchester, Ky., a sister, Wilma McDorman of Greenford, her grandchildren, Jimmy Hovis, Jennifer Rost, Angela Gear, and Craig Crider, and the great grandchildren, Carl Rost, Carson Gear, Emelie Rost and Oliver Gear. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a Sister Eileen Hahn, a grand daughter, Jean Hovis. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, at 11 AM at the Harvest Baptist Church (on SR 45, N of Lisbon), the Pastor Ronald Laughlin of the church will officiate. The burial will immediately follow the services at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit, Ohio. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
