Janet F. (Maley) Scarry 85, of Salineville, passed away at 1:42 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

She was born February 29, 1940, in Mechanicstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Irl and Margaret (Six) Maley.

Janet was a graduate of Carrollton High School. She was a huge animal lover especially cats and dogs. Janet had actively attended Riley's Church in Salineville. She crocheted and was into ceramics and enjoyed growing flowers in her garden. Janet's favorite pastimes were reading books and visiting with her friends.

She is survived by her children; Kathy (David) Willis, Donald (Linda) Scarry both of Salineville, Brian (Kathy) Scarry of Salem, and Jennifer Scarry of Akron, her sister Twila Kellogg of Minerva, as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Scarry on December 21, 2015, and her siblings Rhea Brown and Jack Maley.

There are no services planned at this time.
