Janette Doris (Critchfield) Johnson 82, of Salem, passed away at 4:01 pm on Friday, September 15, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Youngstown. She was born on May 24, 1935 in Salem, the daughter of the late Milton Harold and Bertha (Gray) Critchfield. She was a long time resident of the Salem area and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Salem. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, who she married in 1956, and her brother, Calvin Critchfield. She is survived by her nephew, Donald Elsner of Miami, FL.
