Jean Louise (Kelly) Shea, 81, of Charleston, SC and formerly of Salem, OH and Daytona Beach, FL, died peacefully at her home on December 20, 2014. She was born on January 24, 1933 in Salem, OH, daughter of the late Myron Adams and Vadna (Williard) Kelly. She moved to Florida in 1964 where she resided with her late husband, Richard Shea, before moving to Charleston in 2006. She was always active, volunteering at the Volusia County Marine Science Center and most recently at her granddaughter's school, Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary. She frequented the Lowcounty Senior Center and was also the current vice president of the board of directors for her homeowners association. In Daytona Beach, she worked as office manager for the Daytona Beach Shores Building Inspector, then as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 12 years, and retired as an office manager in a real estate office. She loved to travel, enjoyed the arts in Charleston, but most of all loved spending time with family. She is survived by her son, Norman Robert, his wife, Amy Horwitz, and her beloved grand daughter, Anna Shea, of Charleston, SC. Also by, brothers Richard L. (wife Verna) Kelly of Salem, OH and M. William (wife Carol) Kelly of Hanoverton, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Norman Shea on May 27, 2001, whom she married on September 3, 1955 and her sister, Marjorie Willer.
