Jeffery Dean Owens 63, of Salem Twp., Lisbon, died peacefully at his home on Monday night, July 4, 2022.

He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of Donzel and Norma (Campbell) Owens Sr.

He was a truck driver until he retired in 2017 from Old Dominion Freight Line. Jeff had also drove for Federal Express and R & L.

Jeff was just a simple hard working man. He loved his family and spending as much time with them as possible. In his younger years he played drums in various band in the area. The muscle cars were always an attention getter to him. His time of relaxation came in the form of wrenching on the cars, being out in the great outdoors and ending an evening by a nice fire.

He is survived by his four children: Jeffery (Stacy) Owens Jr. of Columbiana, Joshua (Stephanie) Owens of Tenn., Preston (Erica) Owens of Fla., and Rachael (Justin) Quinn of Leetonia, sixteen grandchildren, and his sister Gloria Boso of Lisbon.

In addition to his parents, he was perceded in death on April 10, 2018, by the love of his life, Lois Louise (Gilbert) Owens whom he was married to for 37 years, and brother Danny and Donzel Jr.

There will be no public calling hours or funeral services. The family was very fortunate to have the assistance of Community Hospice offering their care and support.
