Joanne (Allen) Inman 83, of Salem, formerly of E. Palestine died at 11:45 PM Thursday at Essex of Salem # 1. She was born on February 19, 1930 in E. Palestine, the daughter of the late Perry L. and Amelia (Faulkner) Allen. She was a member of the US Army WAC. She was employed at the Salem Community Hospital for over 20 years in the ER/ Registration Department. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Kathy) Inman of Salem and Matthew Inman of Orangevale, Ca., a sister Donna Shafer in Ca. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband two months ago, Donald G. Inman on October 19, 2013, whom she married on December 5, 1953, a son Donald "Digit" Inman Jr., siblings Jay Allen and Betty Bacon. It was the decision of Joanne that there be no services or calling hour held. A private burial will be in Union Cemetery (Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery) Big Beaver Boro, Pa.
