Joshua Ronald
Grisez
Nov 24, 1987 — May 12, 2026
Joshua Ronald Grisez, age 38, of Leetonia, Ohio, passed away gently into the arms of his Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Salem Regional Medical Center, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on November 24, 1987, in Canton, Ohio, Joshua was a beacon of light, kindness, and simple joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. A dedicated and hardworking man, he spent twenty years as a loyal employee for Fresh Mark in Salem, where he took great pride in his work as a Yard Jockey. His work ethic was matched only by his warm heart and his ability to bring a smile to the faces of his coworkers.
Joshua lived life with a gentle spirit and a deep appreciation for the things that brought him peace and happiness. He had a profound love for the outdoors and spent many quiet hours putting together complex puzzles, drawing, and doodling, letting his quiet creativity shine. A passionate fan of Star Wars, rock and roll music, and Chinese anime, Joshua embraced his hobbies with a youthful enthusiasm that was truly infectious. Above all else, Joshua treasured the moments he spent surrounded by his family, who meant the world to him.
His memory will be forever cherished by his loving mother, Anita Marie Grisez of Salem, and his father, Cameron Leas Croxton of Struthers. He is survived by his devoted brothers, Cameron Leas Croxton Jr. and his wife Tanya Leesky Yoho of Leetonia, and Jacob Ryan Grisez and his wife Megan Louise Jennings of Salem. Joshua also leaves behind his beloved maternal grandmother, Katherine Eileen Grisez of Massillon, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly and will miss his bright presence in their lives.
A celebration of Joshua’s life and a gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 5-7 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services in Salem. Together, his loved ones will share stories, honor his beautiful journey, and remember a man whose kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
