Joyce Faye (Hazen) Powell 76, of Sebring formally of East Rochester, died at 3:05 pm, Sunday, January1, at Copeland Oaks in Sebring, OH. She was born on August 18, 1939, in Salem, the daughter of the late Willard and Emily (Casto) Hazen of Salem. She attended the Community Bible Church in Westville, OH. She enjoyed shopping and watching TV. She loved ice cream and milkshakes. She is survived by her son, Gary D Powell of North Georgetown, her daughter, Marilyn Ann (Terry) Scott of Alliance, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and her sister, Virginia Hazen of Salem. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D Powell whom she married in November of 1957 and who died in 1980, and a sister, Darlene Faith. Services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 12:30 PM, at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. Rev. Kari Lankford will be officiating.
