Judith Vera (Dearth) Cox 83, passed away at 6:20 AM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at St. Luke Lutheran Community North Canton.

She was born November 11, 1940, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence and Vera (Fenton) Dearth.

Judy graduated from Goshen High School. She formerly attended Damascus Methodist Church and was a member of the Women's Society at the church. Judy had been employed at West Branch School as a playground aide and cook. She enjoyed being outside gardening and growing things with her husband.

She is survived by her son Donald A. (Carol) Cox JR of Canton, her grandchild Trista Crichlow, step-grandchildren Nick and Lauren LaPinta, and great-grandchildren Carson and Kinsey Crichlow.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Cox SR and siblings June I. Cribbs and James C. Dearth.

Celebration of life services will be on Monday, September 30, 2024, 1 PM, at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem, with Pastor David L. Andrews officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1 PM, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio.
