Obituary

Kathleen Leslie (George) Taucher 55, of Winona, died at 5:42 PM Saturday at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 15, 1959 in Salem, the daughter of Edwin L. George and the late Margaret L. (Rogers) George. She was employed at Ventura Plastics from 1984 to 2008, and currently was a teacher of adults. She was a person who enjoyed arts & crafting to the fullest extent. He most favorite holiday was Christmas. She had turned her whole house into a full exhibit full of themed trees of all sizes. She loved her sowing and helped to make the costumes at United Local School Plays and other props, a collection of sowing machines that could do many things including quilting and embroidery. She loved her maroon "Texas Cadillac", reading, shopping, using the internet, gardening, baking, and drinking coffee. She was a volunteer at Second Blessing and formerly at Angels for animals. She is survived by her husband, Rick J. Taucher, children, Tricia Lu (Kyle) Taucher-Herron and Trixie Leah Taucher all of Salem, and Adam Jacob Taucher of Sebring and a brother Carl George of East Liverpool and Miss. Kitty her cat. Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 11 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Pastor Sheldon Cosma will be officiating and burial in Lisbon Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM and from 10 to 11 AM Thursday.
