Kelly Council (Dean H. Council Jr) died August 24, 2018

Survived by his wife, Julia (Pemberton) Council and step children Trey Lundy and wife Sara Lundy, Becky Lundy and husband Augustus Fleming, three granddaughters, Ava, Sophia and Lydia Lundy. He is survived by his sister Sally Wilson, three nieces, Katie Wilson, Becky Anderson and Amy Faulhaber, and his nephew Ryan Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean H. And Mary Iva Council and his sister Judy Aronson.

Kelly moved to Hopewell, Virginia in 2004 while working in the cell phone service industry.

Kelly graduated from Brethren Christian High School in Long Beach, CA in 1978. He saved countless lives as a fireman/paramedic for Los Angeles County Fire Department. He also served the Long Beach Police Department, including providing security on the Queen Mary. He spent several years dedicated to the care of his mother before her death in 2003.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, 11 AM in the Upper Springfield Cemetery (Damascus Meeting House) Damascus, Ohio.
