Kimberly Marlene (Ewy) Kastenhuber 61, of Salem, died on April 10, 2019 at her home.

She was born on July 30, 1957, in Spokane, WA, the daughter of the late Otto John and Shirley L (Maxwell) Ewy.

After graduating in 1975 from East Valley High School, Spokane, WA, Kimberly got a degree in accounting from the East Washington University, then worked as a bookkeeper at various businesses. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Salem. When her son was younger, she played a very active role in his life, attending all of his school events and sporting events. She enjoyed baking muffins, cookies, and brownies. She enjoyed spending in nature, walking in parks, and outings to the zoo.

She is survived by her son, Luke Kastenhuber of Salem.
