Kurthe O. Cameron age 93, of Salem, passed away on July 26, 2026 at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

He was born on March 28, 1933, the son of the late Leonard and Gladys (Hoopes) Cameron.

He graduated from Augusta High School, served in the Army. He worked as a Machinist at Salem Tool Co., and Advetech Inc. He was a member of the Stark Beagle Club, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and bluegrass music.

He is survived by his daughter Margie Cameron of Salem, a granddaughter, two great grandchildren, a sister Mary Toalston and a niece and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death in 2020 by his wife Audrey R. (Manzler) Cameron, whom he married in 1955, a son Robert Cameron and a brother-in-law Donald Toalston.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11am, at the Damascus Friends Cemetery, Damascus, Ohio.
