IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laura Elizabeth
Clunen
October 17, 1996 – October 16, 2022
Our angel, Laura Elizabeth Clunen spread her wings and took flight with the angels in heaven on Sunday evening, October 16, 2022.
She was born October 17, 1996, in Salem, daughter of Gerald Vincent Clunen JR and Loretta Lynn (Fullum) Puckett.
Laura was diagnosed just after birth with CLOVES/Proteus Syndrome and for nearly 26 years fought the bravest fight.
"Just beyond the sunset
Lies a home for me
Where the world is peaceful
Like a paradise should be
Just beyond the sunset
Someday is where you'll find me"
Laura found great pleasure in watching the sun set, often saying that they were very "magical". She enjoyed putting together puzzles and being in the kitchen baking. Laura had a creative personality and loved to spend time doing arts and crafts projects, she especially enjoyed when her niece Mercedes would join her. She was fond of watching sports, rooting for the San Francisco 49er's and the Cleveland Guardians (Indians). Laura was also a huge fan of Nascar and an even bigger fan of WWE.
In addition to her parents of Salem, she is survived by her "loving Dad" Arnold Puckett, siblings Joe Rzucidlo JR, Esther Puckett, and Nicole Clunen all of Salem, numerous aunts and uncles, two nieces, and her Bingo buddy Bert.
A very special heartfelt thank you to all the staff, management and residents at Caprice Health Care in N. Lima. All the love, care and compassion will never be forgotten. You all treated her like a Queen!
Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, (at sunset) 6:30 Pm at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. Byron Blufton will be officiating. A time of visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 PM Saturday. She will be laid to rest in Hope Cemetery.
