IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Leonard
Dailey
June 14, 1952 – November 3, 2016
Leonard (Lenny) Earl Dailey, 64, of Columbiana passed peacefully following a sudden illness at 4:30 pm on Thursday, November 3, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center with his family by his side. Lenny was born on June 14, 1952 in Salem, the son of the late Leonard and Dolores (Garwood) Dailey of Lisbon. Lenny was a 1971 graduate of Southern Local High School where he excelled at football, baseball and track and held a number of long-standing state records. He was employed with Kaiser Refractories, later known as National Refractories, with an amazing work ethic for over 30 years. Lenny then worked with GEI/Pennex until he retired in 2014. He was a life-long member of the Lisbon Eagles. Lenny loved fishing, hunting and sports, but most of all he loved family. He leaves his wife, Barbara J. (Liebhart) Dailey, of 32 years; daughter, Lisa Chamberlin (John) Stump of Huntington, WV; son, Jesse Dailey of Columbiana; his precious granddaughters Sara Elizabeth and Emma Grace Dailey; brother, Edward (Nancy) Dailey of Lisbon; and father-in-law, Walter Liebhart of Salem. Lenny never knew a stranger, and will be missed for his humor, compassion and strength. Services will be held on Monday, November 7, 11:00 am at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral and Cremation Services in Salem. The pastor Joe Sheely of Solid Rock Community Church will be officiating with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit, OH. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6 from 6-8 pm and 10-11 am on Monday, November 7.
