Leroy Emerson Grim 85, of Salem, formerly of the Washingtonville Area, died at 1:16 AM Wednesday at Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 22, 1930 in Washingtonville, son of the late William and Elta (Calvin) Grim. He was a retired assembly line worker at GM Lordstown, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Washingtonville and a US Army Veteran. He is survived by a Brother Harry (Darlene) Grim of Florida, numerous nieces and nephews including Kathy and Keith Grim of Salem and Nancy Phelps of Kansas. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother William (Shirley) Grim. A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be observed at 1 PM Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Washingtonville. The Pastor Kari Lankford of the church will be officiating. The burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
