Obituary
Lillian Grace (Withrow) Weems 96, of Salem, died at 7:15 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Blossom Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born on March 5, 1922 in Sallisaw, OK, the daughter of the late Elmer Pierce and Alice Lillian (Martindale) Withrow.
Lillian was a member of the Salem Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, baking and of course, shopping. Lillian was very active in the church and devoted her time to sharing with people. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren and grandbabies.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Tasker of Salem, ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, siblings: Shirley Couch and Kenneth (Rose) Withrow of MO.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on July 1992, by her husband, John T Weems, a son Roger Waeyaert, and nine siblings: Dorothy, Gussie, Frank, Phemie (Shortie), Clemie (Peggy) Mary, Joy, Lloyd and Boyd.
Lillian choose to have a private burial and be laid to rest with her husband in Highland Memorial Park, Beloit, Ohio. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, February 23, 2 pm at Salem Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness (1610 State Blvd, Salem, OH 44460) with Mike Douty officiating.
