Lois Jean (Travis) Pickens, 77, of New Waterford, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Salem North Healthcare after a long illness and a valiant fight.

She was born on May 3, 1944 in E. Liverpool, Ohio to her parents, the late Woodrow and Violet (Gatrell) Travis.

Lois was a 1962 graduate of Beaver Local High School. During her years of employment, she was a mold maker\molder for several pottery manufacturers such as Pfaltzgraff and Sterling. She enjoyed spending time gardening, going antiquing, and taking road trips. But, no trip would be complete without her favorite tunes to set the mood. Her genre of choice was rock music and especially anything from Motley Crew or The Who.

Lois is survived by her daughter; Sherry Pickens of Roger, Ohio, siblings; Margie Rice and Mike Travis both from Wellsville, Ohio, Rick (Lisa) Travis of New Waterford, Ohio, Kenny Travis and Becky (Mark) Frederick both of E. Liverpool, Gregory Travis of Cleveland, and Jeff (Lisa) Travis of E. Palestine, Ohio.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter; Christine Sue Pickens, and siblings; Jack and Larry Travis.

There will be no services at this time.
