Loretta (Bayes) Barringer, 88, of Salem, died at 5:15 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Salem North Healthcare Center in Salem.

She was born August 29, 1934, in Flemington, WV, daughter of the late Thomas Darl and Elsie C. (Gillis) Bayes.

Loretta enjoyed staying home watching TV, but also loved going for rides in the car. She found great enjoyment in going shopping, eating food and going out to eat, her very favorite thing to eat was ice cream.

She is survived by her daughters: Barbara A. Pedro of East Palestine, Carolyn Sue McKinney of Xenia, and Ruby Ann McKinney of Lisbon, her sisters: Nancy Lipscomb of WV, and Betty Earl of Tenn., as well as 3 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2019 by her husband, Robert Lee Barringer, her two children Lloyd and Linda McKinney, and her brother JR Bayes.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023, 11:30 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funereral and Cremation Services of Salem, Pastor Russell Pieri will be officiating. A time of visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
