Marcia Ann (MacFarland) Paine 83, of Canfield, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Beeghly Oaks Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Boardman.

She was born October 6, 1941, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Kathryn (Hadaway) MacFarland.

Marcia was a 1960 graduate of North Lima High School. She worked at the former Home Savings and Loan Bank in Youngstown for over 40 years, starting out as a teller and working her way up to payroll. Marcia attended Mount Olivet United Church of Christ in North Lima. She enjoyed shopping, gambling, and watching OSU football. One of Marcia's favorite pastimes was going boating on Berlin Lake.

She is survived by her son John (Debbie) Paine JR of Berlin Center, sisters; Sandra (Lloyd) Durbin of North Lima and Marilyn Burrows of Boardman, grandson Trevor Paine, niece Di Briggs, nephew Tom Durbin, and great nieces and nephews; Tommy, Joey, Erik, Alek, and Taryn.

A celebration of life service will be Friday, June 20, 2025, 11 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem, with Rev. Timothy Paroz of the church officiating. A time for visitation will be 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Youngstown, Ohio.
