Margaret Ellen (Agnew) Deatherage 87, of Poland, Ohio, died at 5:15 AM Friday at Whispering Pines in Columbiana. She was born on April 19, 1929 in Boardman Township, the daughter of the late Frank Myron and Miriam (Gram) Agnew. She was a home maker, and a member of the Boardman Methodist Church. She was also active in the Ohio Delta Omicron Chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Youngstown Photography Club, Boardman Historical Society and the 20/9 Ham Radio group. She is survived by her brother William (Frances) Agnew of New Middletown and daughter-in-law Alice Deatherage of Leetonia and a half sister Kay (James) Tabor of New South Wales, Australia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Orville Randolph Deatherage, a son Orville Randolph Deatherage II, a brother Charles Agnew. Services will be in the chapel of the Boardman Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 1, at 11 AM with the Rev. Pamela Buzalka officiating. A time of visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday in the church parlor. The burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Salem.
