Margaret Catherine (Welsh) Tyson 81, of Salem, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at her home.

She was born on February 23, 1940, in Beaver Falls, Pa., daughter of the late Thomas Burton and Dorothy Fay (Wonner) Welsh.

She is survived by her children: Hope Hensley of Leetonia, George Tyson of Salem, Richard Tyson of Tenn., Wayne Tyson of Mo., Mike Tyson of Southington, and Tommy Welsh of Youngstown, sister: Jane Monroe of Fla. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Tyson in 2005, and all her biological siblings.

Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. A time of visitation from 1-2 PM.

The burial will be July 19, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
