Maria Lynn Whitman 51, of Salem, died the morning of Monday, May 15, 2023, at Mary Mount / Cleveland Clinic, Garfield Heights following a sudden illness.

She was born on March 4, 1972, in Salem, the daughter of Robert L. and Alice J. (Goetz) Whitman.

She has been a resident of the area most of her life. As a young person, she was brought up in St. Paul's Catholic Church. Marie attended schools locally and worked at various places in the Salem area. She is survived by her brother Bob Whitman of Salem, her nephews and Aunts and Uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2009 and her Mother in 2022.

There will be no services held at this time.
