Marjorie Rose (Baughman) Burkey 72, of Lisbon, passed away at 10:37 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born on October 19, 1945, in Canfield, the daughter of the late Carl and Betty Rae (Beck) Baughman.

She graduated from Greenford High School then went on to graduate from Hannah E Mullins School of Practical Nursing as a LPN. Marjorie was last employed at the former Carrington South Rehabilitation Center in Youngstown. She was a former member of the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department where she worked as a fire fighter, an EMT and an Advanced EMT. Marjorie was a certified with the American Heart Association as a CPR instructor and also worked on the Red Cross Blood Mobile. She enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her sons, C. Joseph Burkey, George A Burkey both of Lisbon, her siblings, Patricia Johnson of Westerville, Jackie Bowlin of Austintown, Ronald (Evelyn) Baughman of Salem, her grandchildren, Amber Wilson, Crystal Burkey, Sierra Burkey, Lona Burkey, Joseph Burkey, Zachary Archenbault, Michael Brants, Haley Brants, her great-grandchildren, Liam and Zachary Wilson.

A private service will take place and she will be buried in the Green Township (Christian Church) Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.
