Martha R (Devers) Luna 66, of Cincinnati, formerly of Mineral City, passed away at 10:24 pm Wednesday, October 24 at the Hospice of Cincinnati. She was born on June 15, 1952, in Colorado Springs, CO, the daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Starkey) Devers. Martha spent most of her childhood in the Alliance area. After serving several years as a missionary in Peru, she worked as a bilingual secretary in Oklahoma where she met her husband to be, Magdaleno. They were married December 29, 1990. In 1991, they moved to Pennsylvania where they assisted the minister in visitation and services of the Spanish community. In 2013, their family moved to Ohio. She is survived by her 4 children, Luis, Joshua, Evonne, Rachel, her siblings, Virginia McFarlane of New Philadelphia, OH, Florence Devers and Elizabeth Phillips of Alliance, OH, Mervin (Donna) and Kenneth (Linda) Devers of Cumberland, OH, her sister-in-law Barbara Devers of Warren, OH, Darrell Devers of Smithfield, NC, many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Magdeleno, on October 23, 2017, her brother, Rolland Devers, and sister, Erma Miller. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home for the Luna children to help with future needs.
