Mary Catherine Geiger, 73, of Youngstown, Ohio, died on Tuesday at 6:04 PM at her home. She was born May 13, 1941 in Alliance, Ohio a daughter of the late Howard and Pearl (Little) Young. She lived for a time in Waco, Texas before returning to the area and settling in the Youngstown area in 1997. She was retired from VFW Post #3307 in Youngstown where she was a bar-maid for 14 years and a member of the ladies auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter Catherine E. Stanchek, two sons Darrel Ray Geiger and Tracy L. Geiger, all of Youngstown. Also surviving are a sister Sarah G. (Lloyd) Pugh of Sebring, and two brothers, John C. Libert and Kenneth L. (Robin) Libert, both of Carrolton, eight grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband the late Darrel Claire Geiger; a daughter Pamella K. Curlin, two sisters Veronica G. Barnett and Linda L. Brown, and four brothers, Howard V. Young, Richard E. Young, Harry R. Libert and Thomas Young.
