Nancy E. Rock 76, of Salem, died at 12:40 PM Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Salem North Healthcare.

She was born on March 7, 1946, in Salem, one of five children of Elmer Harvey Rock and Alice M. (Walls) Rock McIntosh.

Nancy lived in Salem most of her life and worked at various different locations including; as a reservation desk clerk for TWA Airlines in Pittsburgh, Rochel Industries in East Palestine, Eljers Mfg. in Salem, WM in Washingtonville, and WalMart in Salem. She enjoyed going to church, attending services at Faith Chapel Fellowship and Salt Life Church in Salem. Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed Steven King books, learning about history and any book about JFK. There was a time where she enjoyed hooking rugs and building a collection of cat themed items. She was a bit of an introvert but had a big heart, was a little bit sassy, and was always willing to share her thoughts on things. Nancy never married she always felt she needed to be ready to help out others, so she was known for taking very good care of her family and friends. You might have considered her a "mother hen" over the others. The helping\volunteering side of her drew her to help at Salem Humane Society as well as The Attic in Salem.

She is survived by siblings: Judith Wilson and Tammy Priddy both of Salem, as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings: Terry Rock and William Rock Sr.
