Nora Ann (Zimmerman) Hussar 84, of Salem, died at 5:15 pm on Tuesday, February 6 at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Damascus. She was born on October 10, 1933, in Leetonia, the daughter of the late Warren and Grace M (Westover) Zimmerman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She formerly worked at Kenmar Furniture in East Palestine, Hussar's Fine Furniture in Salem with her husband, and retired from Ort's Furniture after working there for 15 years. She enjoyed working out in the yard, planting flowers. She was a former bowler. Nora hosted Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas dinners, and many other family gatherings. Nora is survived by her husband of 65 years, Louis R Hussar, whom she married on August 9, 1952, her children, Linda (Ronald) Lutz of Salem, Richard (Toni) Hussar of New Springfield, two grandsons, Ronald (Kelly) Lutz Jr and Jason (Jill) Lutz both of Salem, her siblings, Lena Tingle of Leetonia and Ralph (Eleanor) Zimmerman of Washingtonville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Boston, Louise, Wood, Wayne Zimmerman and LeRoy Zimmerman. The family wants to thank Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care of Nora.
