Ora Leon Jordan 73 of Salem, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017 at Blossom Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born on July 10, 1943 in Webster Springs, W. Virginia, the son of the late Ora Edwin and Myrtle Caroline (Fisher) Jordan.He was a former truck driver for Murrey Trucking, Ed Wilson Trucking and B and B Trucking. Most recently, he had started a business buying and selling furniture. He was Baptist by faith. Ora is survived by his wife Daisy (Fisher) Jordan, his children Kelly Jordan of Salem, Rodney (Cathy) Jordan of Calcutta, Kurt (Lori) Jordan of W. Point, Kenneth Jordan of Salem, Eric Jordan of Calcutta, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, his siblings Madeline Gosmez of FL, Nina Springer of Elyria, OH, Wilda Roby of Elyria, OH, Maxine Watkins of Elyria, OH, Sue Carpenter of Lorain, OH, Edwin (Pearl) Jordan of Hookstown, PA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 11:00 am at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church of Wellsville will be officiating. Roger Roby will give the eulogy.
