Pastor Harry Robert Leamer 62, of Salem, Ohio, formerly of Patchenville, Pa., died at 2:52 PM Wednesday at Salem Community Hospital. He was born on July 4, 1950 in Cambria County, Pa., son of the late Benjamin E. and Mary E. (Wilson) Leamer Sr. He has been a resident of the area since 2005, coming from Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Allegheny Wesleyan College and previously served as the pastor of the Geneva Pilgrim Chapel in Geneva, Pa.. He was a member of the Pleasant View Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church in Cherry Tree, Pa. and attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Lisbon, Ohio. He previously worked Season-All in Indiana, Pa. for 12 years and at Leamer Electric in Cherry Tree, Pa. In his spare time he enjoyed to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife, the former Lucinda A. White whom he married on June 27, 1988, a daughter Charlotte Dawn Leamer of the home, his siblings, Jean Schirf of Homer City, Pa., Isabel Deyarmin of Cherry Tree, Pa., Gladys Carol Anderson of Apollo, Pa., Lois Misner of Cherry Tree, Pa., Earl (wife Doris) Leamer Jr. of Ala., Alvin Bruce( wife Lois) Leamer of Mi., John( wife Carlene) Leamer of Cherry Tree, Pa., Samuel Ray (wife Sharon) Leamer of Del., an aunt, Betty Gray of N. Cambria, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 11:30 AM at the Pleasant View AWM Church 106 Fern Street, Cherry Tree, Indiana County, Pa. 15724. The Rev. Donald Carpenter of the Church will officiate with the Rev. Robert Thornton of the Luciusboro AWM Church assisting. The burial service will be held one hour after the funeral service at the Lutheran Chapel / Lutheran Cemetery 168 Power Plant Road, Coral, Pa. 15731. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, 2-4 Pm and from 6 - 8 PM at the church in Cherry Tree and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. A time of fellowship will be held in the Coral Fire Hall following the services at the cemetery.
