Paul Joseph Paster Sr, 89, of Salem, passed away at home, Thursday, August 27, 2026.

He was born on June 30, 1937, in Salem, Ohio the son of the late Mike and Sofia (Trella) Paster.

Paul was a 1955,graduate of Salem High School, was a paint operator, at Eljers and Warren Molded Plastics until he retired. He enjoyed golf, fishing, watching the Steelers, Browns, Pirates, and the Indians, but most of all he enjoyed his grand children, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchild. He was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Salem.

Paul is survived by his children; Diane (Eugene) Veon, Angela Rogers, and Paul (Lisa) Paster Jr., five grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, his sister Carol (David) Whaley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death on June 6, 2026 by his wife Gloria Jean (Fleming) Paster, whom he married on January 30, 1960, he was also preceded in death by his brothers; Mike Paster and Steve Paster a sisters Dorothy Crawford, Betty Horning and Helen Enders and son-in-law Terry Rogers.
