Paul David Schroepfer 75, of Salem, died Monday, May 23, 2022, at his home.

He was born in Inyokern, Ca., the son of Walter H. and Melanie J. (Forst) Schroepfer.

Paul in his younger years lived in California. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in the shipyards and had been an apartment manager in Long Beach. He later moved to Ohio and locally worked with Wm. Hardy Construction, Diamond Pole Building , ColFor Mfg., and Valley Forge. A lifetime member of the Salem Amvets Post 45 and Catholic by faith.

He is survived by his son Joshua of Salem and a daughter, Jeretta Shoemaker of Idaho, a brother Wayne of Virginia and three grandchildren.

There will be no public services, the family will have a private service with the Salem Honor Guard offering honors.
