Pete Steve Mikouis 66, of Brooklyn, NY, (Formerly of Warren, Ohio) died at 10:20 AM Saturday, February 7, 2015 under the care of Metropolitan Jewish Hospice Services at Boro Park Center for Care in Brooklyn. He was born on October 21, 1948 in Chios, Greece, the son of the late Stylianos and Fotini (Blaxos) Mikouis. He has been a resident of Brooklyn for 15 years, coming from Warren, Ohio. He was employed by Beys Specialty in Brooklyn as a carpenter. He was an attendee of the St. Nektarios Orthodox Church in Brooklyn. He is survived by his wife, the former Flerida Urbiztondo whom he married on January 11, 2012, his children Steve and John Mikouis of Greece, Siblings, Nick (Jeannette) Mikouis and Angie ( Jim) Frezoulis. Services will be held on Friday, 11 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High Street, NE, Warren, Ohio. The Fr. Constantine Valantasis of the church will be officiating. The graveside burial service will immediately follow at the Grandview Cemetery in Salem, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, Ohio.
