Peter Proctor 50, of Salem, died Thursday afternoon. The full obituary is below Services will be on Thursday, 11 AM at the Greenford Christian Church 11767 Lisbon Road, Greenford, Ohio 44422. (Greenford is about 10 minutes North of Salem. It is a crossroad community located at the intersection of State Route 165 and Lisbon-Canfield Road. It is a large three building complex, with the worship center to the very back of the campus. You will enter under the carport on the building. A time of visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1617 East State Street, Salem, Ohio 44460. There will be additional visitation from 10 - 11 AM Thursday at the church. The Sfg. Bishop C. Shawn Tyson of the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church, Youngstown will be officiating the services. The burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Beloit, Ohio where he will be laid to rest with his father and brother. He was born to Richard M. and A. Louise (Bingham) Proctor He graduated from Salem Sr. High School in 1983 He received the V. Esther Oderon Scholorship. He attended Youngstown State University- Dana School of Music, Choffin School of Nursing, graduating asa Licensed Practical Nurse. He most recently worked as a Senior Patient Case Analyst of Montefiore Medical Center in New York, prior to that he worked at Columbia University Hospital also of New York. He worked at the Vista Center in Lisbon Ohio and private duty nursing. Further accomplishments in the arts at Salem Community Theatre, Youngstown Playhouse Theatre, Columbiana Community theatre,New Castle Community Theatre. He sang with the Youngstown Symphony Chorus at Carneigie Hall,he also served on the board of Youngstown Symphony Chorus. He most recently performed for the last (7) years with Xavier Co of New York where he played the role of JESUS in "No Greater Love" His voice and witness of the Lords love touched many souls. He also had a great love for cooking, planning all family vacations as a cruise planner but his greatest love was to keep family together. Peter will be greatly missed by his mother, A. Louise Proctor, (5) sisters, and (1) brother all of Ohio, a host of nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews. Three God-daughters, family and friends. He is preceeded in death by his father Richard M. Proctor, brother, Gregory A. Proctor and a beloved Aunt, Wilma S, Carter. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, 11 AM at the Greenford Christian Church, 11767 Lisbon Road, Greenford, Ohio 44422. The Sfg. Bishop C. Shawn Tyson of the Mt.
