Phyllis L. Lamb 96, of Salem (formerly of Green Twp.) died at 12:10 Pm Monday, June 6, 2015 at the Courtyard on Lexington Avenue. She was born on December 25, 1918 in Greenford, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Martha (Steinberg) Lamb. She was a teacher of History and English from 1942 to 1977 in Newton Falls at the Junior and Senior High School. She was a member of the Salem First Presbyterian Church. She formerly was a member of Newton Falls Business Professional Women and a charter member, Delta Kappa Gamma, Green Twp Farm Bureau Council, Presbyterian Church Women Association, a 1937 Graduate of Greenford High School, and a life member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by some cousins. Services will be on Wednesday, 2 Pm at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. Meta S. Cramer of the church will officiate the services and burial in Ridge Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
