Phyllis Jean (Wells) Detwiler, 90, of Lisbon, died at 7:40 PM on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at the Truman House of Community Hospice in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

She was born June 19, 1932, in Lisbon, daughter of the late Guy and Pearl (Darrah) Wells.

Phyllis spent majority of her life in Lisbon, Ohio, only moving to Cleveland for a number of years for her late husband, Harold's job. She was a Jehovas Witness in faith.

She is survived by her children Russel (Marsha) Detwiler of Lisbon, Cindy McMurray of Lisbon, and Arthur (Christine) Detwiler of Austintown, her sister Martha Best of Lisbon, as well as 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harold Arthur Detwiler in 2012, her children Terri Piergiovanni and Marvin Detwiler, her brothers Guy, William, Gerald, and Russel Wells, and her sister Viola Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held at the Lisbon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 38195 Hunters Camp Rd Lisbon, Ohio 44432 on March 18th at 3 PM.
