Ralph Edward Seaman Sr. soul has gone home to the Lord on July 2,2026. Born May 3,1938 in Youngstown Ohio, to Cecil Clair Seaman and Velma Frances Crawford Seaman.
Ralph attended school in Austintown, before coming to Greenford High School, graduating in 1957. After graduation, Ralph became a tool and die maker. His skills in the tool and die area lead him to companies contracted with NASA for work on the space shuttles. He was a 3rd generation carpenter and loved doing carpentry and home improvement for family, friends, and clients. A cut here and there wasn't uncommon for Pop's! He also loved drag racing, to the extent of building his own hot rods. His dream was to go down the track one more time. He was an active coach in Pop Warners Football for his children, and a host family for Hawaiian football players. He also loved traveling,camping, and fishing with his family. Ralph was a former member of Greenford Lutheran Church where he served on church council during his time there, and a former member of the Greenford Ruritans.
Ralph was married to Linda Lu Huffman and had 6 children; Ralph Edward (Diane) Seaman Jr., Mark Lee Seaman, Jeffrey Harold (Kristy) Seaman, Matthew Scott (Elaine) Seaman, Michele Lynn Seaman, and Brenda Gail Seaman. In 1989 he married Linda Mae (Bruderley, fka Bush) Seaman, and they spent 37 years together before his passing. Ralph extended his family and added 2 step sons, Michael and Scott Bush, a step daughter, Missy Crowe, and their children, grandchildren with Linda's family. He also had the best little buddy, his dog, Peanut (Petey or Pete), who will be placed with dad's ashes for eternity. Ralph is proceeded in death of his parents, brothers, sisters ,son, Ralph Jr., and one step son, Michael. He is survived by his wife, Linda Mae Seaman, his 5 children, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, and that does not include his step children and their families. Also cousins, nieces and nephews, and their friend, Orville 'Bud' Ward.
He loved his family with all his heart. He has made his mark on the world, and now he is in heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Per Ralph’s request, a private service will be held and a celebration of life at a later date.
Arrangements made by the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services of Salem, and Ralph will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Rogers, Ohio.
