Obituary

Randal Lee Keefer 68, of Salem, died on July 7, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.
He was born on December 11, 1949 in Salem, the son of the late Harold E. and Emma Jean (Fitzpatrick) Keefer Jr.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1967 Graduate of Salem High School. Randy received his associate degree in mechanical engineering from Kent State University. He designed one of the largest coal augers. He was a big football fan, his favorite team was the Cleveland Browns, and his favorite player was Joe Walsh of the Eagles. He was an avid race fan and spent a lot of time at the Mid-Ohio races. Randy was a fan of old time rock and roll music and was quite intrigued with the information could be found with Google.
Randy is survived by his son Keaton A. Keefer of Glenville, NY, his siblings Steven (Mary Beth) Keefer of Sidney, Karen Humphreys and Patrick Keefer both of Salem.
There will be no services held at this time. There will be a private burial in Grandview Cemetery, Salem.
