Rebecca Anita "Becky" (Jones) Yeagley 79, of Greenford, died at 6:10 PM Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Elizabeth/Mercy Health, Boardman.

She was born on October 7, 1945, daughter of the late Earl and Betty (Sibbett) Jones.

She was a graduate of the former Greenford High School, employed years ago as a cook at Dutch Haus Restaurant and Skylark, later went on to do private duty home health care. She also had operated Aunt Bea's Country Cupboard. In her prime of life, she enjoyed cooking, baking cakes and things, and all types of canning. She was also known for entering things into the Canfield Fair. She had been an active member of the Greenford Christian Church, but in recent years joined them on their online services.

In recent years, she could be found driving around the area checking on family and friends. She was the true "Watch dog" for her neighborhood. There was not much she missed with the daily activities of Greenford.

In her quiet times, she played games on the computer, loved to play Yahtzee, watch figure skating during the Olympics and listen to gospel songs by the Gaithers.

She is survived by her sons; Trent (Rena') Yeagley and Corey (Brandy) Yeagley, grandchildren; Cody (Autumn Kisner) Yeagley, Baylee (Alex) Collins, Case Yeagley and Hailee Yeagley one great granddaughter Sophia Collins, brother Ben Jones, brother-in-law Chuck Withers.

She was preceded in death on January 7, 2001, by her husband Jerry L. Yeagley whom she married on June 12, 1965, and a sister Susan Withers.

Services will be on Friday, May 30, 2025, 1 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Rev. John Bush of the church will be officiating the services. The burial will immediately follow in Green Township (Christian Church) Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
