Rena Rae (Kaminsky) Reich 97, of Salem, died peacefully in her sleep at home Monday morning. She was a very special Mother, Grandmother and Great grand mother. (She was a special mother to her daughters-in-laws) She was one sweet Grandma and never forgot any of the birthdays or anniversaries of the grand children. There are many people who she has known over her life, and enjoyed everyone to the fullest. Rena will be sadly missed by many, but she is now spending time with those loved ones who went on before her. She was born July 26, 1915 in Salem to the late C. W. and Ethel (Leaf) Kaminsky. She has been a resident of Salem most of her life, but did live in Glendale, Ariz for ten years and also had been spending the winters in Lady lake, Fla. She was a 1933 Graduate of Salem High School, had been employed at Lease Drug Store, Strouss Dept. Store and last at McCulloch Dept Store in Salem. She is a member of the Salem First Christian Church, the Faithful Followers Sunday School, and UCT Salem Council # 590. She is survived by her loving Son, William 'Bill" (wife Judy) Reich of Salem, daughter-in-law Judy Reich of Avon Lake, A loving grandma to her five grandchildren, Michael (wife Jen) Reich, Jennifer Reich, Karen reich, Kathy (Husband David) Nicol, and Scott (wife Leann) Reich, and fourteen great grandchildren, Bethany & Sarah Reich, Micah, Donovan & Destiny Albu, Mackenzie, Ethan & Cameron Nicol, Mallory, Griffin, Preston, Spencer & Jaret Reich, and Tyler Andrews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, C. Raymond Reich on June 16, 1987, whom she married on September 10, 1935, a son Robert Reich, A brother Robert Kaminsky, and a great grandson Joshua Reich. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, 2 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Moore officiating. The Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Friday.
